- Group visits will be 1 1/2 hours in length.
- We require a ratio of at least 1 adult for every four children age five or younger and one adult every five children over age five.

- The cost is $1.00 per person and includes children and adults. Membership will not be applicable.

- Please
review the following rules with the children in your group:
- We
use walking feet and indoor voices
- We
use care and consideration when exploring in the exhibits.
- We
clean up when we're finished exploring in an area.
- There
are age restrictions on a few of the exhibits.

- A museum representative will meet you to go over specific expectations.
- Payment for your group is expected at that time:
- A check to CMOM,
- Cash collected ahead of time, or
- Organization
purchase order.
- While you explore the museum:
- The
adults must supervise the children throughout the visit.
This is a place of free exploration, but not "anything goes".
- Adults
shall explore with the children in the exhibits and help them
read and understand exhibit instructions and guidelines.
- Adults shall encourage the children to take care of the exhibits and leave them neat and in good condition.
- Students will be attentive at all times and follow instructions.
- Students needing to leave the group will be escorted by an adult.

- Group
visits may be scheduled by telephone. Please schedule early - some
days and months fill up quickly.
- Visits
can be scheduled between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. Tuesday thru Friday.
No visits will be scheduled on Wednesday mornings during the school
year. Sorry, no exceptions.
- Group visits will be scheduled on a time- and staff available basis.
- We reserve the right to limit the number in the group and to schedule more than one group in a time period. We will consider number and ages when combining groups.

Cancellations must be made no less than 48 hrs in advance of the scheduled visit.
Note: We are just across the highway from Gibson Park, which is very large and offers picnic areas, a playground and a duck pond. you can safely walk from the Children's Museum to the park or vise versa by using a nearby highway overpass.
